가마쿠라의 유명한 대불상입니다. 내부 입장시에는 추가요금이 발생합니다. 가마쿠라 관광지중에 많은 사랑을 받는곳입니다

입장료는 400엔입니다. 제가 수국제철에 가서인지 하세역부터 인파가 엄청났습니다 수국이 제철이어서 워낙 예쁜 경치와 더불어 잘보고 왔습니다. 한켠의 전망대에서는 가마쿠라 시내전망을 볼수있어요

대부분의 여행객들은 절보다는 내부의 유료 대나무숲을 보러 갈꺼에요. 카레산스이정원과 굵은 대나무숲은 꽤 인상적이었어요. 하지만 입구부터 절까지 이어지는 길도 좋았습니다.

키타가마쿠라역에서 가장 가까운 절이다. 입구에서 안쪽까지 코스가 일자로 되어 있어 왔던 길로 다시 와야 했다. 경내가 넓긴 했으나 30분 정도면 둘러 볼 수 있었다. 6월 초에 방문했는데 꽃은 수국이 약간 핀 정도였고 안쪽에 있은 연못주변이 좋았다. 일본의 문화재로 지정된 범종이 있는 곳까지는 게단으로 되어 있는데 올라가기가 쉽지 않았다.
