Event

A Buddhist memorial service and fall tradition in the city of Hakui long beloved by many residents and visitors. The entire city gets wrapped up the festival. Events include the Buddhist memorial service at the Honnen-ji Temple, the head of Hakui-jinja Shrine; Karatoyama sacred sumo wrestling conducted by wrestlers from the Kaga, Etchu, and Noto areas; and the huge number of evening street stalls and vendors operated by local shop owners packed side by side from Hakui Station to Paseo-dori Street.
