Nagoya Festival
A fall tradition in Nagoya started in 1955. The local here parade is a must-see-actors dressed as the three great heroes of Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu are accompanied by some 600 other performers clothed in historical costumes. Decorated cars, traditional music performances, and old-fashioned parade floats add to the festival atmosphere. Also, during the festival, Nagoya tourism facilities such as Nagoya Castle and Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens are free.
