Lake Suwa Summer Night Fireworks
The grand finale of the Lake Suwa Summer Night Fireworks event, a series of fireworks displays conducted over a period of approximately one month on the shore of Lake Suwa. Over 10,000 fireworks are launched during the event, lighting up the night, including huge chrysanthemums as well as star mines lit off just above the water's surface. Many street stalls open up for the festival, as well, and each year huge numbers of people come to enjoy the show.
