Nichihara Sweetfish Festival

This fireworks festival is held on the Takatsu River that flows through Tsuwano Town in Kanoashi County, Shimane Prefecture. The viewing location is close to the firework launching site, where approximately 3,000 powerful fireworksare launched. You can enjoy the large echo of fireworks in the surrounding mountains and their fantastic reflection on the river surface. During the festival, sweetfish catching, canoeing and other river events are held.
