Minato Maizuru Chatta Festival

This fireworks display is the main event of the Minato Maizuru Chatta Festival held in Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture. Fireworks are launched from shipsdecorated with colored lights that line the sea, creating a fantastic sight that spreads across the horizon. During the festival, events such as Minyo Nagashi (folk dancing parade) & Handmade Mikoshi (portable shrines) and the Chatta Regatta boat race are held.
