Komatsushima Port Fireworks Festival

This festival is the first of the fireworks festivals in Tokushima Prefecture, and is the grand finale of the Komatsushima Port Festival. In addition to the around 2,000 explosions, starmines and 12 inch shells will spectacularly illuminate the summer night sky. The fireworks launched off the Komatsushima port, affords a mirror reflection fireworks display in the water from certain vantages. Before the fireworks display, a variety of fun events including a Yukata Contest are held, attracting in and out-of-town visitors from all around.
