Urayasu City Fireworks Festival

This fireworks festival has been a favorite for many years as an Urayasu City summer tradition. It is produced by Sohke Hanabi Kagiya, the historic pyrotechnic company founded in 1659. About 6,600 fireworks gorgeously color the summer night sky. They are launched from offshore, so you can enjoy the inverted reflection of the fireworks on the sea simultaneously. About 150,000 visitors crowd in every year, and restrictions on admission to the grounds start in the evening. Re-entry is also forbidden, so you'll want to get settled early.
