Ogawa Tanabata Festival Fireworks (小川町七夕まつり花火大会)

Event

This fireworks display brings the first night of Ogawa Town's Tanabata Festival to a close. It features about 2,000 fireworks, including multi-shot starmines and 12 inch shells, adding sky blooms to the colorful and elaborate Tanabata decorations throughout town. A variety of events take place on the day of the fireworks, filling the town with energy. These include Yosakoi dancing, stage performances by young people in a chamber of commerce, and kids omikoshi shrine porting.
