Izumi Nature Park
This park, located in Wakaba Ward, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, makes full use of its abundant nature and multifaceted landscapes. With over 1,500 cherry trees, it is popular enough to be included in Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. Take in the wide variety of cherry trees blossoming at the square or in the fields, such as the tall Yoshino cherries, or even the weeping cherries, hill cherries, Oshima-zakura cherries, or Sato-zakura cherries—best viewed from late March to mid-April. Hours are from 8:30 to 17:00 (closes at 16:30 from October to March). Toilets and paid parking available.
