Chiba Kodomo no Kuni KidsDom

KidsDom is an amusement park in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture. There are plenty of activities that all the family can enjoy, including a go-kart track, a barbecue area, a fishing pond, etc. A total of around 1,000 cherry trees (including the Yoshino variety, etc.) have been planted in the park, and in the spring many visitors bring their children to sit on the grass lawns and enjoy the beautiful cherry blossom. The cherry blossom “tunnel” over the go-cart track is especially impressive. The cherry blossom is at its best from late March to early April each year. From March to October, KidsDom is open from 9:30 to 16:30. The admission charge is 700 yen for adults, 300 yen for elementary and junior high school students, 200 yen for young children (children aged 3 or over who have not yet started at elementary school), and 400 yen for persons 70 and older. Toilets, shops and paid parking available.
