Karuizawa Prince Hotel

Stretching out in front of Karuizawa Station, the grounds of the Prince Grand Resort Karuizawa are planted with some 300 cherry trees, and each year from late April to early May they come into full bloom. Visitors can enjoy the sight of Yoshino cherries, weeping cherries, and other cherry tree varieties together with a spectacular view of Mt. Asama, still capped with snow at this point in the year, and the resort is a popular destination for flower viewing-seekers during the Golden Week holidays. Visitors are free to stroll the resort grounds. The Prince Grand Resort Karuizawa also offers facilities such as a shopping plaza for shopping and dining, a golf course, and rental cycles, giving you the chance to enjoy a kind of holiday only a resort can provide.
