Tateno Park

A nature park located in Rokunohe Town, Kamikita County, Aomori Prefecture. A great destination for outings of all kinds, the park has a camping area and other facilities; Satsukinuma Marsh is also located inside the park, and here you can fish for carp and Japanese crucian carp. The park is also famous for its hill cherry trees; in spring the park’s approximately 1,000 hill cherries bloom with lovely light pink blossoms. The best time to see the blossoms is usually from late April to early May, and during cherry blossom season, the Rokunohe Spring Festival is held here. A variety of other events are also held at the park, including a classic car meet and a koinobori carp streamer fair. Toilets and parking available.
