Janohana Garden
Janohana Garden located in Motomiya City, Fukushima Prefecture is a garden of Janohana Palace which has been designated as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property built as a second house for a wealthy farmer in the Meiji period (1868–1912). Seasonal flowers can be observed from spring to fall, and the weeping cherry trees in front of the palace as well as Yoshino cherry trees and hill cherry trees come into full bloom in mid-April. At the same period, narcissus and tulips also come into bloom so many people visit for these flowers. It is illuminated from mid-to-late April. There is a tea house, which offers light meals, shops and toilets. Free parking is also available. It is only open from April to November. The admission fee is 700 yen for high school students and older and 400 yen for elementary school students and older.
