Takedao

Event
A charming area on the border between Takarazuka City and Nishinomiya City in Hyogo Prefecture surrounded by rivers and mountains. The tracks of the former Japan National Railways Fukuchiyama Line have been opened to the general public for use as a hiking course and this popular area sees many visitors. The bridges and tunnels along the tracks still remain from when the line was in operation. The fall foliage in the area reaches its peak starting from mid-November and the sight of crimson maple and cherry tree leaves along the rivers enchants visitors.
