Lake Kawaguchi (Maple Corridor)
Approximately 60 old Japanese maple trees on both sides of the river here turn crimson when the leaves change in fall. This Maple Corridor makes Lake Kawaguchi a popular spot for viewing the autumn foliage. From the beginning to the end of November it is lit up in the evening, letting visitors enjoy an enchanted world. The Fuji Kawaguchiko Autumn Leaves Festival is held at the same time.
