Byakugou-ji Temple
Selected as one of Hyogo Prefecture's Top 100 Gardens, the Inyo no Niwa is said to a work from the Azuchi Momoyama period, and is one of the famous aspects of Byakugouji Temple—itself famous as a place for flowers, where various flowering trees are cultivated, such as cherry trees, kyushaku wisteria and five-color camellia, a Natural Monument. The autumn leaves in fall are fabulous, with brilliant colors of maple and Indian soapberry spreading to create a fascinating view. There is illumination during the autumnal leaf season, so you can enjoy a slightly more fantastical beauty than during the day. It has been designated one of the Tanba City's Momiji no Sato by the Tanba City Tourism Association, and they host events for touring around Tanba's autumn leaves during November.
