Art Museum

This art and history museum is an eight-minute taxi ride from JR Mobara Station. Located in Mobara Park, selected for inclusion in the Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots list, park visitors can take a casual stroll on the grounds and stop by here to take in some art and culture. The fine arts section of the museum displays several works of art by artists connected to Mobara, such as Mobara-born painter Isao Hayashi. The local history section of the museum primarily displays artefacts and items concerning the history and people of Mobara.

所蔵の作品展や企画展、地元の学校の作品展などが行われる。基本的に無料だが、企画展によって有料のこともある。

こじんまりとした施設です。茂原公園に隣接していますので、家族で訪れても良いと思います。
また、郷土資料館もいろんな資料があり、とっても勉強になりました。

入場は無料の施設なので、かなりこじんまりとしていますが、
かなり空いていて見学はしやすかったです。
大きな公園に隣接していますので、冬より暖かい時期の方が良さそうでした。
