Daishoji Temple
The temple is a Tendai Sect temple with the principal image of Fudo Myoo, which is said to have originated when a fisherman's wife was gathering seaweed on the beach and found a statue of Fudo Myoo under the sea, which she enshrined in a shrine. The thatched-roof Fudo Hall was once designated as a former national treasure and has been repaired at government expense.
