This udon noodle restaurant is located about a 10-minute drive from Tsuna-Ichinomiya Interchange on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway. There is always a line to get inside the venerable restaurant, which was established over a century ago. Guests can savor Awaji Island Udon, which combines the chewy texture of Osaka udon and the springiness of Sanuki udon. Their most popular item is their famous Onion Tsukemen Hana, features noodles served with a large deep-fried onion flower in a bowl of dipping sauce. The many delicate cuts that have been made in the onion cause it to open like a blooming flower as it is slowly deep fried.
