"This Japanese confectionery shop faces the Hongo-sanchome Intersection. The front of the store is marked by a solemn-looking sign that truly imparts a sense of the establishment's long history, and inside they sell some tender treats that are perfect for taking a break from the daily hustle. Their signature item since its foundation in 1932 is the highly rated ""Daigaku Monaka,"" a treat packed full of coarse red bean paste from Tokachi that can be enjoyed as is or alongside some nice, cool ice cream. Between late March and late April, Hongo Miharado sells ""Harimazaka,"" special treats shaped after cherry blossom petals. These make for wonderful gifts (and are also sold throughout the year at Myogadani Miharado)."

本郷三原堂の創業当時からの看板商品「大学最中」。「學」という字が旧字で大學最中と書かれた表紙(最中自身にもあります）は東京大学受験前の見学など訪れた記念のお土産にインパクトが有ります大きくて平たいので、餡がたっぷり入っています（1個 240円）。ロケーションは本郷通と春日通りの交差点角にあります。交差点の交番の対角線向こうになります。和菓子専門店ですので他のものも用意されています。

訪問したときはどら焼きをいつも買います。ボリュームがあっておいしいです。一個単位で買えるところも嬉しいです。
