Kitakyushu Nagasaki Kaido Koyanose Post Station Memorial Musuem

Memorial Hall
A museum in Koyanose 3-Chome. It's built over the former site of the Honjin, or hotel designated for use by lords, in Koyanose, a town that flourished as a post town along the Nagasaki Kaido Road. It houses the Michi-no-Kyodo Museum which displays materials related to Koyanose from the Edo period to the Showa period and the multi-purpose Koyanose-za Hall.

    友達と木屋瀬散歩をして、立ち寄りました。入場料は200円で、様々な資料をくれました。駐車場は少し歩いたところにあります。内部は撮影禁止です。季節がらお雛様たちが展示されており、木屋瀬の歴史などの展示物もありました。

    江戸時代に小倉から長崎に向かう長崎街道の宿場町として木屋瀬が栄えたその香りを観光呼び込みの一つとして建てられた郷土資料館。入場料が200円かかるのも建物維持のため致し方ないかと思われる。
