Kitakyushu Firefly Museum
A museum in Kumagai, Kokurakita Ward. The museum features exhibits that will teach you about the ecology and habitat of fireflies and also has a large terrarium where you can view fireflies and other waterside creatures. The Seseragi Waterway, an artificial recreation of a waterway, has been set up outside where you can experience how to raise fireflies and other hands on lessons.
