Showaike Park

A park in Kusami, Kokuraminami Ward. The park was established on a plot next to a dam formed lake. The park is a well-known spot for cherry blossom viewing with nearly 1,200 Yoshino Cherry trees that bloom during the spring. The blooming trees seem to surround the lake and have gained the name Showaike no Senbonzakura (Countless Blossoms of Showaike).
