Igura no Yakata (The House of Igura)

Historical Monument
A historic building in Yoshii-machi, Ukiha City. This is one of the best kept examples of the many white-walled storehouses located throughout the city. It was built during the Meiji period as a house for a branch family of a wealthy land baron and was remodeled during the Taisho period. The house is open to the public and free to enter and there is a conference room available to rent.
