"This fruit farm is situated on the Oada Highland, the gateway to Yoshino. The farm began operating in 1894 and its Japanese pears, labeled ""Victory Pears,"" were once officially gifted to the Emperor in commemoration of Japan's victory in the Russo-Japanese War. The farm cultivates an abundance of different Japanese pear varieties from late July to early December, and offers Japanese pear picking for visitors from mid-August to early November."
