"This long-established soba buckwheat noodle restaurant started in the Bunkyu period (1861-1864). You can have fragrant freshly-made soba noodles in a shop with a long history and tradition. Standing in front of Jindaiji Temple's Sanmon gate, this shop boasts not only soba but also its beautiful scenery. It is known as a place where you can enjoy seasonal expressions such as cherry blossoms in the spring, fresh greenery in the summer, autumn leaves, and the silver world of winter. One of its recommended dishes is ""Musashino,"" a set that comes with of sanmi soba (buckwheat noodles with grated daikon radish, laver and mitsuba parsley) and vegetable tempura. It is a popular menu item where you can enjoy firm soba noodles and wild herb tempura with plenty of crispness. In the autumn, maple leaf tempura is also offered with its vivid color."

2階席にてお池を眺めながら

深大寺山門の目の前にありロケーションが良いです。お昼に早い時間でしたが1Fはほぼ満席という人気ぶり、2階席に上がらせて頂きました。お二階は座敷にテーブルとイスで足が辛くないようにされ、障子まどからお池を眺めながらお食事頂き大満足です。給仕される方も和やかで気持ち良いサービスを受けられました。また立ち寄りさせて頂きたいと思います。ご馳走様でした。

紅葉と新蕎麦を楽しみに深大寺へ。深大寺をお参りした後に山門前の元祖嶋田家さんへ。店内に入ると立派な鯉が泳いでいます。開店直後だったので、お店の裏側に広がる亀島弁財天池を眺められる席へ。池に浮かぶ弁財天と紅葉を楽しみながら天ぷらそばを頂きました。さすが元祖、腰のあるツルツルとした食感で美味しい。お店オリジナルのゆず七味を味見したところ、香りが良いのでお土産に買って帰りました。山門前と...
