Nagashima Mizube no Yasuragi Park
This leisure facility is located in Matagi, Nagashima-cho, Kuwana City. The park makes use of an old Japanese estate which belonged to the Kuga, a local landowning family whose members also occupied important positions in the government of the bygone Nagashima Domain in the Edo period. Visitors can tour this rare example of Meiji period architecture. The park also holds events, such as Nagashima river boat tours, and a tree peony festival in April when the park's tree peony garden is in bloom.
