Museum / Science Museum
"This porcelain shop has been in business since the Edo period. The shop displays a collection of porcelain and Nishiki-e prints dating to between the end of the Edo period and the early Meiji period. The establishment is one of the ""Ise Street Corner Museums"" - small facilities run by born and bred Ise natives which introduce the living and breathing culture of Ise. There is an old 64-meter-long trolley rail running from the entrance of the shop to the back which was once used to haul merchandise, hinting at the prosperity once enjoyed by Ise City's Kawasaki district, which was known as the ""pantry of Ise."" In the shop's storehouse in the back (entry fee required), you can view Edo period porcelain as well as a variety of antiques and curios which convey what life was once like here."

  • トロッコのレールをたどりながら懐かしいアイテムを拝見
