Sekiunin Temple

The temple was built in 1455, the first year of the Muromachi period (1336-1573), as a family temple of the Katsumada clan, whose main domain was the Katsumada River valley, and features many buildings with excellent architectural and carving techniques, including the temple gate, the main gate, the stonework of the approach and the waterfall at the Ryumon gate. Fuji Shizuoka Airport and the surrounding tea plantations can be seen from the top of the mountain behind the temple.

静岡空港の石雲院展望台の横、森の中の歩道を下っていくと、境内に通じます。山門はを彩色はありませんが、東照宮の陽明門がモデルだそうです。

出発の2時間半前に空港に到着してしまいこちらに寄りました。空港にはずれにあるため往復すれば１ｋｍ以上の散歩コースとなります。時間潰しには丁度良いと思います。落ち着いた雰囲気の場所ですが展望デッキから向かう急な坂は足腰に不安のある方は急坂はかなりきついです。
静岡空港からの旅行の時、当該寺に参拝する。。

空港に早めに到着し、駐車場に車を駐車しないで、左折して、坂を少し下ると、石雲院に到着。飛行機の出発前の時間調整も兼ねて、もう3回くらい参拝しています。今回、展望デッキの続く坂道を少し登り、稲荷大明神の稲荷神社にも参拝しましta.
