The museum is located in Senkashira Station of Oigawa Railway, where various parts of the steam locomotive are on display, and also has a panel exhibition about the steam locomotive and materials from the time when Oigawa Railway was in operation. Outside, there is a "turntable," a manual turntable registered as a cultural property, which can still be used to change the direction of steam locomotives.

記念入場券ならお土産になる

見応えのある実物や写真、その他の資料が多い。入り口に入場料を入れる箱があるが、駅の切符売り場で「入場券」を買って見学をしよう。記念のお土産になる。
千頭駅の駅構内にあるSL資料館

大井川鉄道本線の終点、千頭駅。駅構内にSL資料館があります。入館料は100円で、SLの模型や部品などが展示されています。千頭駅で、鉄道やバスの待ち時間に行かれるとよいと思います。
