It is located on the left heading east from Yokosuka Castle Ruin Park via Prefectural Route 41 and Prefectural Route 69. The home was built as the residence of the Shimizu family, which made its fortune as Kaisen donya shipping agents during the Edo period. The family even served as purveyors for the region's feudal lords. The home's kaiyu-shiki garden is believed to have been completed during the mid Edo period. The beauty of the extremely clear spring water in the garden's central pond earned it a spot on the list of Shizuoka Prefecture's 100 best waterfronts in 2001.

園内を散策しましたが整備されていて見た目もよく池も庭もとても綺麗でした。茶店のお茶もおいしかったです。
東屋からの眺めは絶品

回遊式庭園を観に訪れました。園内を散策。高台にある東屋は心地よい風が通り抜け、暫し時を忘れます。隣りを自動車を通るとその音で現実に戻されますが…。池には大きな鯉が優雅に泳ぎ、小さな鯉達は水草に身を委ねて漂っています。
ここで出される甘酒は絶品

お茶所だけに、お茶はもとより、お茶と一緒に出されるお菓子は絶品さらに、甘酒の味も絶品だよ場所、駐車場がわかりづらいので、通り過ぎてしまわないように・・・
