Island Teahouse Aburaya

Candy Store
A 30-minute walk from Enoshima Station on the Enoden Railway Line. This sweet shop and cafe is located on the grounds of Enoshima Shrine's Okutsumiya inner shrine. The shop features a relaxed atmosphere and looks like a classic Japanese house and changed from an oil merchant selling oil on Enoshima to a cafe, hence the name (Aburaya meaning Oil Merchant). Relax in the flow of Island Time with the cool sounds of modern music and jazz reverberating through the shop. The garden is surrounded by greenery and the shop interior is dominated by a large table made from a single block of Akita Cedar. Enjoy their original sweets alongside their carefully made cuisine. Garden seating is offered and the cafe is pet friendly.
