A memorial museum showcasing the work and personal items of Gochiku Nakabayashi , a calligrapher from Ogi. It houses about 500 pieces of Gochiku's work and about 50 of his personal items. About 40 items are on exhibit at any given time and the display changes every three months. The Gochiku Map, produced by the Ogi City Board of Education, is available at the museum's counter. It presents 24 spots around Ogi City with ties to the artist.

梧竹の書を堪能

桜城館の2階にある中林梧竹記念館では、東洋一の書家と評価の高い書聖中林梧竹の作品が多数展示されています。象形文字のような作品があって、書のことをよく知らなくても、面白いと思える作品がたくさんありました。作品は、季節ごとにかわるようです。入場料は２００円で、大学生以下は無料。今の時期は、省エネでエアコンがきいてなくて、館内は少々暑かったです。
