Maruyasu Apple Orchard
In 1977, after 42 years of planting apples in this area, as a result of daily experimentation, this tourist farm's apples were recognized as tastier than their counterparts in northern regions. They cultivate about sixteen varieties of apples, in addition to six varieties starting with Tsugaru in season from late August to mid-September and ending with Fuji from early November.
