Myokenura Coast and Jusanbutsu Park

Other Sightseeing Spot
Jusanbustu Park at the tip of the cape is a superb viewpoint overlooking Myokenura Coast to the north and Shiratsuru Beach to the south. Selected as one of the Japan Sunset Best 100, it's a well-known spot for watching Shiratsuru Beach turn red as the sun goes down. The name comes from the Jusanbutsu Temple with ties to the Jusanbutsu ceremonies popularized during the Muromachi period. The park also has a monument engraved with tanka poems by Takkan Yosano and his wife Akiko.
