This day-use hot spring bathhouse is located in the Ueki Onsen hot spring district. Here customers can enjoy free-flowing hot spring baths amidst pastoral scenery. The bathhouse is replete with public and private family bath areas; in either, customers can enjoy a relaxing time. The bathhouse has six private family baths, each with a different design, such as a hinoki cypress bath and a rock bath; customers can reserve an open bath when they enter the bathhouse. The bathhouse is also replete with amenities such as shampoo and dryers. The waters of the bathhouse' alkaline simple hot spring are gentle on the skin.

熊本の銭湯のサイトで「あしはらの湯」を知り、かけ流しの温泉ということで訪れてみました（熊本の銭湯組合にも入っているようです）。今回は大浴場を利用しました。[施設について]家族湯と大浴場の二つがあります。大浴場は入ってすぐ横の靴入れを利用します（鍵のないオープンなもの）。脱衣室はそれほど広くはありませんが、棚＆籠に加えてリターン式の100円ロッカーもあります。冷房がしっかり効いていました...

300円で露天風呂、内湯が楽しめてとてもリーゾナブルです。ほのかな硫黄臭・硫黄味の温泉が掛け流しです。露天風呂はやや温めです。併設して家族風呂もあります。

普通の銭湯みたいな温泉の隣に家族風呂を併設しています。国道から少し入り込んでいるので利用客はそれほど多くないようですが、家族湯はお湯も美人の湯特有のぬるぬる感があって温泉感いっぱいです。全体的にあまり広くはなくお湯の入れ替えはないですが、かけ流しで気持ちいいです。
