This restaurant is located a five-minute walk from Obi Castle. Operating out of a 120-year-old merchant home, the restaurant serves regional Obi cuisine. The restaurant's fishing pole-caught Nichinan bonito broiled rice box meal, ranked number one in a list of local Nichinan dishes, comes with fresh, raw bonito you broil yourself. Customers rave that the meal's bonito soy-based sauce, made with local Obi soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, has a light and delicious flavor. The meal also comes with an atsuyaki omelet, a famous Obi specialty; and nimono-style stewed seasonal vegetables, meaning with this one meal you can enjoy the tastes of Obi. 町あるき食べあるきチケットで串だんごか厚焼き玉子と交換できます。迷ったのですが串だんごを頂きました。柔らかくて美味しかったですよ。
