A 15-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station. A shop located within Ohara Museum of Art, Japan's first western modern art museum, situated on the corner of Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. They sell art books and merchandise such as stationary decorated with motifs of the art in the museum's collection. In particular they offer a wide selection of postcards decorated with the works of artists including El Greco, Monet, Gauguin, and Picasso. Also popular is the Original Book Tin Cookies which come in a tin shaped like a book and decorated with a print of a classic novel. You can enter the shop without entering the museum.

美術館見学をしなくても入れます

大原美術館の隣にあるショップです。美術館に入らなくてもここでおみやげなどを買うことが出来ます。絵葉書やタオルなど色々扱っていました。個人的にはとても暑い日だったので冷房で涼めたのがうれしかった。
美観通り沿い、の散策の時にも。。。美術館に入らなくても入れます。

美術館の鑑賞後に行きました。古民家を利用して、お店になっています。大原美術館の代表作の絵の絵ハガキや、クリップ、マグネット、他、いろいろな楽しい愉快な文房具など。お父さんが子供の教育のために、見せている方など、親子連れにも十分たのしめる場所でした。
