This day-use hot spring is just a ten-minute drive from the Yubara Interchange on the Yonago Expressway. Located in Maniwa City it's known as one of the Top Three Springs in Mimasaka and also offers lodging options. The building, perched atop a stone embankment, was built in the Meiji period and the nature surrounding it gives it a secluded hot spring atmosphere. The clear spring water gushes out of cracks in the naturally blue-tinged bedrock and is a somewhat tepid 38 degrees Celsius. The spring is a hypotonic alkaline spring that aids with nerve pain, muscle soreness, joint pain, and chronic digestive diseases among other things. You can also enjoy cuisine made with soft-shelled turtles raised in the spring water.

足元湧出のぬる湯の温泉

湯原温泉近くにある一軒宿。日帰り入浴で利用させていただきました。予約はできず、30分の貸切制。入浴料は500円でした。こちらの内湯は岩の間から温泉が湧出しており、それをそのまま浴槽にしています。包み込まれるような極上のぬる湯です。

わたしのおじいちゃんが昔ここに宿泊したことがきっかけで、ここの宿を気に入りすぎ両親の新婚旅行もここで不思議なご縁な特別な宿なのです。私自身も小さな頃からここに連れてこられるようになり、ここが大好きでおじさん、おばさんも大好きです。ホタルの時期はとてもきれいです。
ごつごつ岩間から気泡が上がる温泉

県道５５号から見えるのどかな山あいの一軒宿の温泉宿です。日帰り入浴させていただきました。温泉は足元湧出のアルカリ性単純温泉です。３４度ほどのヌル湯で岩の間からプクプクと気泡が上がってきます、湯舟の底は岩がごつごつで段差があり最深部は腰の深さほどありました。つるりとした湯であたたまりサッパリしました。隣に加温した上がり湯の小浴槽があります。３０分の貸切湯で入浴料は５００円です。
