キャッスルロードの彦根城に近い場所にあるお店です。あかりは灯りで、知らなかったのですが、彦根の伝統工芸である和ろうそくやキャンドル、お香の展示があります。キャンドルは制作もできるようになっているので、記念品にいいと思います。

店内には可愛い形、美味しそうな形など様々な形のキャンドルが置いてあり眺めているだけで楽しい。和ろうそくは大中小色々なサイズがあります。また手拭いやお香、お菓子などお土産品も揃っています。

この「夢京橋あかり館」は、彦根城の大手門を出て左の方に行ったところにある和ろうそくのお店で、いろいろなろうそくがありました。私は一番オーソドックスな和ろうそくを１本買いました。また、オリジナルろうそくが作れる工房もあるようでした。
