This longstanding traditional Japanese ryotei restaurant was established in 1912. The restaurant's signature mackerel bo sushi is both famous and widely loved. This sushi can both be enjoyed in the restaurant and purchased to take home. Lunch menu selections include the Gozen Kinomoto meal, which comes with mackerel bo sushi; and unagi mabushi (eel served bibimbap-style). At night, the restaurant serves traditional kaiseki course cuisine lovingly crafted using fresh, local seafood, meats, and vegetables; in autumn and winter, customers can also enjoy duck and pheasant hotpot dishes. In addition, an old storehouse on the restaurant's grounds has been turned into a gallery in which is displayed a painting of the Battle of Shizugatake of immense historical value.

金目鯛の炙り寿司、実山椒が効いた鯖の棒寿司-麩の和えもの-おすまし‥みな丁寧に作られていておいしかったです。夕暮れの中庭を眺めながらの個室、椅子席、静かで旅の疲れがとれるようでした。

金目鯛のあぶりすし。ぎっちぎちじゃない、ふんわりとした酢飯に、柔らかくて旨味の乗った金目鯛がマッチして美味しかったです。鯖寿司は塩でしっかりと締めてあるタイプでした。
