Maki Farm is an orchard that grows mostly cherries and is open to visitors. From early June to early July, visitors can have the experience of picking cherries for themselves and eating as many as they want within an hour. They can also pay to have the time extended to two or three hours. There is a “night course” available only on weekdays, and tourists may pick cherries in the nighttime. Another special option lets visitors harvest cherry from a “superior” section of the orchard that has received extra fertilizer and that produces especially sweet cherries.
