Konno Fruits Garden (今野観光果樹園)

3.5

Orchard

This tourist orchard offers guests the chance to harvest a variety of seasonal fruit including cherries, grapes, and apples. It grows several varieties of apples and grapes including luxury grape varieties such as Pione and Aki Queen. Each of these varieties is seedless, making them easier to eat. Visitors can also purchase freshly-harvested fruit such as La France pears at the orchard’s shop. Customers can also have fruit sent anywhere in Japan.

Review of Konno Fruits Gaden

TripAdvisor Traveler Rating
Reviewed:2019/06/17

Although often overlooked, Yamagata prefecture by no means lacks appeal: the Yamadera temple trail through the mountains, deliciously tender Yonezawa wagyu, and over 100 steaming hot springs, most notably Zao Onsen, await visitors. When winter comes, the snowcapped peaks become dotted with skiers by day and onsen-goers by night, while summer brings the celebration of juicy Yamagata cherries.
