Tobishima Marine Plaza
This tourist facility is on outlying Tobishima Island, the northwest of Sakata City in Katsuura, Tobishima, Sakata City. The building is designed to resemble a squid, a famous product of the island, and has four floors. There is a cafe serving light meals made with the island's seafood, as well as a local product sales area, a gallery displaying materials connected to the island's nature and culture, and there is a great view of the Sea of Japan and Mt. Chokai. They also sell tickets for the regular ferry Tobishima.
