Otaki Museum of History and Folklore
This museum is attached to “Roadside Station Otaki Onsen” along National Route 140 in Otaki, Chichibu City. They have exhibitions on the plants and animals living in the primeval forest of Okuchichibu, the “Chichibu Oukan” that was prosperous as the road leading to Koshu, and documents on the local agriculture and people’s livelihood. In the same location there are also hot spring facilities, restaurants and shops that sell local produce.
