A bookstore offering a wide range of books from all fields with a focus on local books and specialized books. It first opened in 1876 along what was then the old Nakasendo Road and has changed and grown with the neighborhood being well beloved for over 130 years. They hold a wide variety of events including book making classes, publisher anniversary fairs year round, and various seasonal events.
