宿毛の歴史と宿毛の偉人を紹介する施設。吉田茂の実の父親がここの出身だったとか紹介している。また赤穂浪士の最期の言葉など貴重なものも残っている。

東宿毛駅から徒歩10分ほど。公民館、図書館が入っている宿毛文教センターの3階にある。入館料は200円。展示室は2つあり、一つが宿毛の歴史、もう一つが宿毛が輩出した偉人について解説している。展示数は多くないが、吉田茂の実父が宿毛出身(吉田茂は東京出身)ということで茂の書も展示されているので興味がある人は行ってみては。

バス停の前にある公共施設です。完全に行政の箱物と行った感じの建物でした。
町に似つかない立派な建物でした。
