JMSDF Kure Museum JMSDF Shop

This shop and cafe is located inside the JMSDF Kure Museum, the only museum in Japan with an actual submarine on display. The shop area carries an abundant array of Japan Self-Defense Forces merchandise and Kure souvenirs. The shop’s hats bearing the actual identification marks of various units (including previously used designs), which you can only buy here, are particularly popular. In the adjoining cafe space, you can enjoy original foods and drinks, including Akishio Curry, authorized by the 10th captain of the Akishio submarine.
