Lake Onuma's Asian Skunk Cabbages

Other places famous for flowers
Dotting the wetlands along the bank of Onuma Lake, this area hosts the largest community of Asian skunk cabbages in the country. A walking path has been installed so that visitors can view the beautiful plants up close. The plants come into bloom from mid-April each year, and while they are flowering, the area bustles with large numbers of tourists.
